MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Middle Tennessee's women's basketball staff announced four camp dates for this summer, which includes Lil Raider Camp, Elite Camp and a pair of Team Camps, all during the month of June. The Lil Raider and Elite Camps are both individual camps.
The Lil Raider Camp runs from June 2-4 for ages 5 through 8th grade and costs $150. It features daily instruction from 8 a.m.-Noon each day with campers split into four divisions (K-1, 2-3, 4-7, 7-8). Station work includes defense, ball handling, shooting, guard play, post play, rebounding, and screening and passing. Early registration is due May 27.
Elite Camp is June 27-29 for grades 7-12. Cost is $175 for commuters and $225 for overnight stay. The camp features advanced basketball skill work and player development as well as daily lectures with emphasis on offensive and defensive concepts, weight training and NCAA requirements. Early registration is due by June 16.
The Team Camps are June 4-6 and June 15-17 with team registration $150. The team camps are for middle school, JV and varsity high school teams and features high-level competition and individual competitions each night. Registration deadline for Camp I is May 27 and for Camp II is June 2.
