MONROE, La. - Sophomore Marc Rocafort has been named to the Sun Belt All-Conference Tennis Team as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
Rocafort was the only Middle Tennessee player named to the team and joins four nationally ranked players in No. 18 Adam Holstrom (Denver), No. 31 Jack Baker (South Alabama), No. 99 Piotre Banas (Louisiana-Lafayette) and No. 119 Mark Sramek (South Alabama.
Rounding out the All-Conference men's tennis team is Florida Atlantic's Oliver Sajous.
The doubles All-Conference team is made up of Holstrom and Niklas Perrson (Denver), who are currently ranked No. 3, Baker and Sramek of South Alabama, who are ranked 60th and Baker and RJ Nagel of South Alabama.
The Blue Raiders will begin the 2008 Sun Belt Conference Championships on Friday, April 18 at 11:30 a.m. when it faces Louisiana-Lafayette.
