MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Sun Belt Conference men's tennis championships will begin on Friday, April 18 in Monroe, La., with the Blue Raiders seeded third.
Middle Tennessee is 8-14 overall but has a 2-1 conference record with wins over No. 66 Denver, No. 61 South Alabama and Arkansas-Little Rock. The win over South Alabama was in a tournament so it does not count as a conference match but was against a conference opponent.
The Blue Raiders will face Louisiana-Lafayette, who is seeded sixth in the tournament at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
With a win Middle Tennessee will advance to the semi-finals on Saturday, April 19 at 5 p.m. when it would play the loser of second seeded South Alabama and Troy, who is the seventh seed.
