MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Sun Belt Conference women's tennis championships will begin on Friday, April 18 in Monroe, La., with the Blue Raiders seeded eighth.
Middle Tennessee is 8-15 overall with a 3-4 conference record with wins over Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State and rival Western Kentucky.
The Blue Raiders will face UALR, who is seeded ninth in the tournament at 8 a.m. on Friday.
With a win Middle Tennessee will advance to the second round later in the day on Friday at 6 p.m. when it would play top-seeded Denver.
