Tom Hodges begins his second season as the director of basketball operations for Middle Tennessee women's basketball.

Hodges comes to Middle Tennessee after spending one season as an assistant coach at UT-Chattanooga. While at Chattanooga, he was responsible for scouting reports, on-the- floor coaching and responsible for all team travel.

At Middle Tennessee, Hodges will conduct all team travel arrangements. He will also handle scheduling opponents for the upcoming seasons.

While Hodges was a student at Tennessee Tech, he assisted Head Coach Bill Worrell as an undergraduate assistant women's basketball coach. He was a member of two OVC Championship teams and also assisted in team travel and team meals. Hodges received his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and Extended Studies in 2004.

From 1999 to 2004, Hodges was an AAU basketball coach. He coached the 2004 15 and under national championship team and also coached a total of four teams to the national tournament.

Hodges is a 2000 graduate of Shelbyville Central High School.
