Kristin Midkiff begins her second season as the athletic trainer for softball at Middle Tennessee.

Midkiff earned her bachelor's in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Central Michigan in 2007. While at CMU she worked with the baseball, field hockey, women's basketball and football teams. Midkiff also gained experience at H.H. Dow High School, the University Recreation Injury Care Center, MidMichigan Campus Ridge Rehabilitation and the CMCH Emergency Room.

The Certified Athletic Trainer also spent one semester as a student intern for women's lacrosse at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pa.

Midkiff is currently working on her master's in Sport Management from Middle Tennessee.
